This is my first draft of my advertisement and I believe that it fulfills the requirements set by the brief. I was asked to create a cyberbullying advert which would attract high school teenagers and I think this first draft of the advertisement amplifies this requirement. I also think that the camera angles are of a high quality and imaginative. For instance at the beginning when the protagonist is running up the stairs and then it cuts to a low angle shot. This makes the sequence look more captivating and professional. The storyline behind the advertisement is effective and it is clear enough at the moment.for people to understand what is going on.
However, there are big improvements that need to be made. I must include a logo and a website link, this will appear at the end of the advertisement. By adding a logo and a website link, it will add more identity to my work - in terms of the logo - and it will make the whole advertisement more professional. Furthermore, I would like to add more footage into the advertisement and this will make it more understandable. The storyline that I want to portray will be much more evident once more footage has been applied.
You're right that it needs a logo, and more footage. It feels incomplete. But kudos for bringing more awareness to bullying! We don't have nearly enough prevention in our public school system. We finally had to pull our daughter out of one school because it was just overrun and the principal did nothing to stop it. Great job on the video so far!
