Focus Group for Advertisement


The purpose of the advertisement was to promote a cyber-safety message. So making the audience aware of cyber-bullying and how to stay safe when being online. The brief outlined factors that I had to include which were:
  • The client's logo
  • The tag-line for the campaign
  • Contact details/ useful websites for help
  • Conventions of social message campaigns.
It was imperative that I incorporated all these elements because this is exactly what the client wanted me to include. By ensuring that I involved these requirements, it would make the advertisement come across as being very professional and efficient.

Focus Group Questions:
  1. What do you think the advertisement is about?
  2. Do you think it fits with the requirements of the brief? So is it vibrant and youthful?
  3. What age group would you say my target audience is? 
  4. In the advertisement, what are the most effective parts?
  5. What would you do to improve the overall advertisement?
  6. There is a lot of information at the end, do you think it is too much?
