Location Post- Kitchen

This post will explain the location and the health and safety issues for my kitchen ident.

This ident will be shot in the school kitchen in Glenthorne High School. This is because the kitchen in the school is very spacious and there is a lot of room to move about. Also, the work surfaces are very large and this makes it easier to spread the objects around on the table and it would actually look like the forks, spoons and knives have climbed from the floor onto the table, but if I filmed it on a smaller surface, the movement would look cramped and unconventional. As I will be filming during the day, the lighting will be natural and this will make the ident look much more realistic and fresh. Whereas, if we had artificial lighting the ident would look fake due to the lighting.

In order to set up my ident I need five forks and knives, four spoons and spatulas and two chairs which will be used at the beginning of the ident. Also I will need a camera to capture the stop motion which I intend to do. So, compared to other idents, there isn't a lot of equipment which I need to set up. As I am using knives I will have to take care when handling these as it could cut me, whenever I move the knives, I will have to hold the handle because the knives will be sharp. Another health and safety issue is that I will have to stand on a chair in order to get the birds eye view shot but my partner will have to hold the chair to stop it from shaking.
