Location Post- Sparkler

This post will highlight the health and safety issues for this ident and the location of where the ident will be shot.

For this ident, I will film it outside in a park due to the vast space of the surroundings. However, this must be filmed when it is dark as this will capture the light of the sparkler much better. As this will be filmed outside at night, there will be no lighting or power sources because any light would ruin the image. I also decided to not film ident inside the school of Glenthorne High School because the shot type I am using is long shots and the school classrooms are too small in order to pull off this shot type.

Another reason I decided to not film this ident inside is because of the health and safety issues that it could create. For example, a sparkler could catch fire to a piece of material inside the building whereas outside, it will be much safer to do so. Furthermore, by doing the ident outside I must be extremely careful when maneuvering the equipment as I could trip over the tripod legs due to the darkness. Moreover, the heat of the sparkler could cause a burn so I must wear gloves when handling the sparkler and I must have a water bucket nearby so I can put the sparkler into it when I have finished. To create this ident, I will need sparklers and a camera to create the stop motion.
